This is a mount to hold two of the Ikea Smart Home Bilresa remotes (706.178.72) - please note this is not compatible with the Bilresa Scroll Wheel remote (906.174.56), a bracket for this is sold on a separate listing.
The bracket conveniently sits on top of your existing light switch (please note - it doesn't fully cover the entire back plate due to the large variety of shapes and sizes of light switches).
This fits standard UK width light switches with screws holes approx 60mm apart. There is a recess on the back of the cover to house the toggle switches - there is usually room for up to 3 switches. This cover prevents unwanted switching off, while still retaining access to the original light switch if needed.
The Bilresa remotes (not included) are securely attached to the mount by sticking the original metal brackets (also not included) securely into the recesses on the front of the mount.
The mount is fitted by removing the light switch screws, and re-inserting through our mount. Just in case your original screws are not long enough we include a pair of extra long 40mm screws with each mount sold.
The item is 3d printed exclusively by 3dbitz in white, plant-based, non-toxic, environmentally friendly and compostable plastic known as PLA.
